In Dreams I Walk
Not sure of anyone else, but my happy self-wants, needs, and loves to dream. There are millions of folks, places, and things to dream of. Its absolutely wonderful to find a nice peaceful spot, and allow our mind to romp through the pages of antiquity and on into future tales of unsuspecting adventures - for it is those misty clouds of possibilities where we mortal souls will devoid ourselves of all the negatives, transpose ourselves into anywhere we wish and look forward to the experiences that linger where we have never been before.
Our fantasies can picture us of becoming a famous and fantastic dancer, and gliding over clouds of lightness...of becoming a professional poet, and inspiring others to fulfill their dreams of flight...of being a scientist, and discovering new methods of accomplishing our goals...of just relaxing and inhaling the twinkling stars...of listening to a raindrop fall, and hear its solitude...of watching smoke rise, and understand obscurity...listening to a snowflake fall, and comprehend peace...of suddenly realizing that our minds are the final frontier...of making new good friends, so we will experience loneliness less...of being a doctor, and healing mankind...of knowing that serendipity ceases, when our thoughts stop.
We can dream of going to a beach, lay on the sands of time, and wonder what secrets the ocean hides...of traveling through a worm-hole, and discovering a new dimension...of strolling through a forest, and discovering solitude...of being a hurricane, and swirling through the galaxy...of realizing that crying and laughing heals the heart and the soul...of being aware of the tremendous power or faith in ourselves...of having the courage to kneel and help a child...of the fantastic inner strength of asking for help when we need it...of realizing that the more we learn, the more interesting we are to others...of standing on the edge of the universe, and watching it evolve...of being the sun, and warming our beautiful Blue Marble...of being the moon, and stirring the seeds of love on a warm summer night...of being a motivator, and inspiring passion...of prevailing over adversity, and amplifying comprehension in others.
Or perhaps, we may wish to dream of expanding our imagination, and let it transport us to the galactic core...of realizing that beyond the seas are new lands to explore...beyond the mountains are new friends to make...beyond our fears unfolds a new life...beyond curiosity is the flight of excitement...beyond the fears of the problems are the solutions...beyond stubbornness is the power to be humble...beyond a raging storm is a warm summer day...beyond a vehicle is a starship...of knowing that ignoring fear is to cause its death...of knowing you would march into hell itself for your family...to converse with the stars on a crisp clear night, and hearing the answer to your prayers...of realizing that you can defeat loneliness with enthusiasm...of finding a mysterious new love in a far-away place.
There are those of us who may prefer to dream of gallivanting around within our bodacious bodies and discovering the veins of life that flow... how our skin stretches...how the heart can pump 12,000 miles of blood through the veins... how our lungs can expand when we inhale the life-giving air... how all of the creepy things in and on our skin covered "bags of mostly water" (us humanoids) can exist, and realize that without them, we would die...discover the tremendous power of the one billion cells in our brain, and how the axions and dentrites send and receive all of our thoughts through electrical and chemical activated synaptic connections...of fully realizing how one microscopic cell can multiply exponentially, and how each new cell knows where to go, and what to do when it gets there.
Maybe we would enjoy listening to our hearts, and understand our children's...of listening to a flower grow, and evermore understand patience...of listening to a soft wind blow, and hear nature sing...of listening to leaves tumble, and hear them fall...of listening to a raindrop drip, and hear solitude ring...of listening to a river flow, and hear pure isolation...of listening to the sun shine, and hear our life's pulse...of listening to the ocean's roar, and hear antiquity...of listening to a butterfly's wings, and know determination...of listening to our dreams, and harken to a whole new life.
Dreaming on the shores of our own private universe not only invigorates our meandering minds and our benefiting bodies, it can also give us a whole new outlook on life itself - maybe instilling in us a new idea, a new and better way to change ourselves for the better, motivate us to become far better off then we are now, and allowing us to understand our children and ourselves more. Dreaming can also cause us to enjoy more pleasures in life, such as strolling through the mud in a summer rain, enjoying a field of lightning bugs on a warm summer night, writing poetry for the ones we love, or just singing in a warm shower after a long day's work.
But the most over-riding and powerful benefit of dreaming is realizing that if we truly wish, we can fulfill most of our dreams! Imagine what you can do next!

Imagi-Nation: Good Afternoon Mr. President
Congratulations! You are the president of your own nation, and it is called "Imagination". This particular nation is the driving force behind your life and is the underlying factor for your future. You need to realize that you have an enormous responsibility as the President of this Nation because you need to always focus on the future and strive to have the ultimate nation. You need to internalize the power you have as the President of your own nation. Among many things that you have is the power to choose and/or consider. You are the one who holds the votes on who is allowed to live in your nation!
As I have written about in the past, you must create and begin to maximize your mastermind team. This team will empower you to build an unreal imagination and make others wonder why you are achieving such an awesome level of success. As the President, you will inspire others to create other phenomenal imaginations of their own. The world needs many people who are proud of their own "Imagination".
Each of us has the ability to imagine such powerful dreams for our future, which can change the destiny of millions of people. Let's think about a few people who had unreal imaginations -- Henry Ford imagined an 8-cylinder car and then achieved it. The Wright Brothers imagined men could fly and then discovered a way to make that possible. John F. Kennedy said that we would have a man on the moon and then achieved it. Ask yourself right now, "Where did they all dream of those achievements first?" The answer to that question is...They did their dreaming in their own nation called Imagination!
You need to take some personal time and evaluate how you are handling your nation. Are you proud of what you are imagining you can be or what you can do? If you answer that question truthfully, you will either be enthused or disillusioned. You truly need to re-examine your nation. I suggest that you brainstorm, which means to take some time for yourself and just write down all the dreams that you have but never even wrote down. I also recommend that you write down 100 of them and then put them away for 2 days so that they can sink in a little. When you go back and read them, your inner spirit will direct you to the one that you need to focus on and begin to design with your own "Imagination". Each of us is empowered to create wealth for ourselves in every aspect of life -- spiritually, physically, and financially!
I challenge you right now to utilize your God-given imagination and imagine whatever you want to be then you will be empowered to run your nation in the most productive methods possible. This alone will entirely change your life for the better because now you have a responsibility as a President of a nation - your "Imagination".

The 1-week Plan to Tripling Your Productivity
In the terms of the layman, productivity refers to the amount of useful activity you complete in a given time. It is closely related to elegance - the ability to bring about the greatest results with the least amount of effort. It is the belief of the author of this article that productivity grows exponentially with the degree of elegance with which you perform tasks. So how do you increase your elegance and triple your productivity?
Mamy authors write about the powers of the unconscious mind. This is the subconscious mind - that part of each person that takes care of the things we consciously take for granted - from the beating of the heart, the regulation of the blood composition, the thermostatic regulation of the body's temperature by the hypothalamus part of the brain or such processes that were once conscious then become unconscious as one develops competence - e.g. driving, walking, being able to comfortably read the words of this article etc.
Would it be fair to say that to the greater extent that you can take control of and allow the unconscious mind to get you what you want, the greater productivity and elegance with which you perform and complete tasks will be? Imagine for a moment...how often do you wake up and start the day on automatic - you get up, maybe you stretch, you go prepare breakfast, clean your teeth, or if you're smart and enthusiastic - perhaps you go straight for a run or do some other form of exercise...
All those things are normal and fine, but if you examine this behaviour it is a habit that you have formed. It happens on automatic - if it happens smoothly and you don't really think and decide about what you're doing, the chances are its ingrained as a habit and your unconscious mind is running the behavioural pattern. So, the rest of this article will show you how you can use this information to create more of what you want by taking control of your unconscious processes, teaching your mind who is boss and achieving bigger and better results, small step by small step.
Try this for a week (7 days). Anyone who can do something for 7 days can do it for 21 days, and the experts say it, takers, only 21 days to learn a new habit. Do it for six months and the chances are you can keep it up for a lifetime it becomes so ingrained - if you choose to. To implement this simple step and triple your productivity in a week, you will need only a pen and paper plus a little willingness to take control and do something you've been putting off.
Step 1: Write out a list of about 20 things each day that you know you need to do - this can include even the most basic of things such as "get up out of bed", "make the bed", "clean teeth", "switch out the lights", "wash up my breakfast bowl", "kiss my spouse good morning," etc. You get the picture, just make sure that you have a list of 20 different things that are really easy to achieve.
Step 2: Decide to do the first thing on the list and then do it. Give yourself a tick with the pen and consciously tell your mind that this is a success. Your mind will be pleased with you and support you because you've decided to do something and then you have gone ahead and done that thing - that's a successful loop - it shows to your mind who is in control - no matter how big or small the task.
Step 3: As you find yourself effortlessly doing this list, and rewarding yourself along the way by ticking off your "to do" list, you will find yourself feeling terrific about yourself. You will bring to the fore of your mind the things you've been dreading and putting off and actually create the burning desire to get them done well. Your self-belief will skyrocket.
Step 4: You can test yourself by slightly increasing the difficulty of the tasks, perhaps add something you don't yet know "how" to do - eg earn an extra couple of hundred in a week. By increasing your productivity like this and training your unconscious to just get on and support you to "do it" you may well find you achieve far more than you expected over the next week of doing this. You have it within you to triple your productivity in just 7 days. So go ahead, your instructions are above.

See Dramatic Improvement in Your Eye Contact Skills
Is your eye contact aggressive, is it soft, is it inviting, do you love with your eyes? Eye contact is a very tricky art to master but vital to effective communication. How can you make it better?
Eye contact provides social information to the person you are listening to and talking to. Too much eye contact and you could be seen as aggressive, too little eye contact and you can be seen as having no interest in the person speaking. It is an often overlooked skill to have and an underutilised skill when communicating with people. You can see masters of eye contact in great salespersons, politicians, and good public speakers.
I realised the importance of eye contact when I was counselling people face to face. I noticed when I broke eye contact the person would stop speaking. When I maintained eye contact the person would continue talking knowing that I was interested in what they had to say.
Physiological signs of eye contact
Street traders know the importance of the eyes when using their selling skills to keep their potential buyers interested. When you are aroused or interested in an object your pupils will dilate and this is a big cue for salesmen all over the world.
Also when you are interested in someone sexually your pupils will dilate and you hold the person's gaze a little longer than normal. When I was single I always knew when a girl was interested in me through her eyes, now that I am married if I get the same signs I discourage eye contact.
Everyday conversation and eye contact
We will use eye contact every day of our lives so it makes sense to learn the best ways to use your eyes to your advantage.
Certain situations demand different uses of the eyes. For example, if you are arguing it is seen as strong if you can hold your gaze. If you are referring to someone it is better to lower your eyes, if you are loving someone it is good to stare at the pool of the eyes.
6 Ways to improve your eye contact skills
1. Talking to a group - When talking to a group of people it is great to have direct contact with your listeners. However, you contact maintain eye contact with just one person as this will stop the other members of the group from listening. To get past this, focus on a different member of the group with every new sentence. This way you are talking to all of the group and keeping them all interested.
2. Talking to an individual - It is great to maintain eye contact when talking to a person however it can become a bit creepy and uncomfortable if you stare intensely at them. To combat this, break eye contact every 5 seconds or so. When breaking the eye contact don't look down as this might indicate the ending of your part of the conversation. Instead, look up or to the side as if you are remembering something. Try it just now: don't move your head, and think about the first time you started school. You will notice your eyes might move up or to the side as you try to remember this. So when your listener sees this they will think you are trying to remember something and keep on listening to you.
3. Listening to someone - When you are listening to someone it can be off-putting for the talker if you stare at them too hard. The technique I use when I am counselling someone is to use what I call 'The triangle'. This is when I look at one eye for about 5 seconds, look at the other eye for 5 seconds and then look at the mouth for 5 seconds and keep on rotating in this way. This technique coupled with other listening skills such as nodding, occasional agreement words such as 'yes', 'Uh -huh' 'mm' etc is a great way to keep the talker talking and to show them you are interested in what they are saying.
4. Arguing - Arguing with someone is a skill in itself and if you want to compete in an argument holding the gaze shows strength. If you look away when arguing with someone you have all but lost the argument. Obviously this depends on who you are arguing with but in general, it is better to hold the gaze whilst you are making your point and also when you are listening to the other person. We have all come across the person who is great at arguing and making you feel small, you will notice that everyone who is like this try to stare you out. Stare back, it will surprise them, piss them off and put them off what they are trying to say. Staying silent and staring at someone who is trying to rile you is also an effective way to win an argument without saying a word.
5. Attracting someone - When you are trying to attract someone and show them you are interested you can talk and listen with your eyes. When a person you like is speaking using the whole face as your focal point. Look at their eyes, listen to what they are saying, smile in the appropriate places, raise your eyebrows in the appropriate places. If you feel you are staring at them move to their other features such as their lips, their cheeks, their nose and then back to their eyes. Smiling when listening to someone is a great way to show you are interested in them, obviously don't smile when they have just told you their pet died last night. You have to listen with your ears as well as listening with your eyes (yes I did mean listening with your eyes, you listen to someone's body language with your eyes).
6. Loving someone - My wife and I often share a prolonged gaze into each other's eyes and it is a very special thing to just stare without talking. My wife's pupils will dilate and she can my pupils dilating. It creates a strong bond between us. To make your pupils dilate even more you can try this: as you are staring at your partner imagine yourself going inside their body and your two souls making love. You are trying to touch their very soul. This will release adrenalin and make your pupils dilate even more.

How To Have Creative Thinking
People seem to have the misconception that only a select few are able to unleash a steady flow of creative genius. That is not true at all. The fact is, creativity is very much like a muscle that needs to be exercised in order to consistently give out great results. If you don't practice harnessing creative thinking, this skill will very much atrophy into inexistence. But keep working and this skill will soon come to you in a snap.
So how do you unleash your creative thinking? Well, the first thing is to become a human leech. No, we're not talking about just sucking the blood out of every living being available, we're saying that you should take in as much knowledge and learning you can find. Read everything available -- good and bad, and keep your mind open to the infinite possibilities of the universe. The more you know, the more you'll want to know, and the more your faculty of wonder will be exercised. Prepare to be amazed at little facts that add a bit of colour to your life.
Focus on a creative activity every day. Yes, it's an effort. Even doodling is a creative activity. Don't let anything hinder you. Mindlessness may be a creative activity, but for people who are just starting out to unleash a little bit of creative thinking in their lives, it is helpful and encouraging to have concrete evidence, that, "hey, what I'm doing is getting somewhere." So why don't you try it? Practice drawing for a couple of minutes each day. Bring out your old camera and start snapping photos like crazy. Keep a journal and make a point to write in it religiously. Another cool idea is to write by describing something with your five senses. Try to avoid vague adjectives like "marvellous," "amazing," and "delicious." Before you know it, you'll have built yourself a tiny portfolio, and you'll be amazed at the growth you've undertaken after amassing all those works of art. Who knows, you might actually take to liking those things you do every day. Pretty soon those things will become a part of you and you'll be addicted to these creative exercises.
Think out of the box -- or don't. Sometimes, constraints are actually a good thing. Limitations discipline you to work within your means. It enables you to be more resourceful. Creative freedom is great, but limitations enforce discipline.
Try something new every day and let your experiences broaden your perspective. Explore a new district in your neighbourhood. Spend an afternoon in a museum to which you've never been before. Chat up someone on the bus. Open up to the people around you. As you thrust yourself out of your comfort zone more and more each day, your sense of adventure grows and so does your zest for life. Think about it. When was the last time you did something for the first time? If it's been a while, I tell you, you've been missing out on a whole lot of experiences that could've added to your growth, emotionally, mentally, physically, or spiritually. Why don't you try bungee jumping today? Not only will you learn, but you will also have plenty of stories to share, enabling you to practice your storytelling skills and making you the life of the party.
Embrace insanity. No, not to the point of practically admitting yourself into the mental ward. As John Russell once said, "Sanity calms, but madness is more interesting." Exactly! Every creative thought was once deemed insanity by other "normal" people at one time or another. Luckily, that didn't stop the creative geniuses from standing by them. The thing is, sanity or being normal confines people to think... well, normally. Within limits. Creativity is essentially breaking through barriers. Yes, this includes the bizarre and the downright strange. I'm not saying that you yourself should develop a creative personality. That might go haywire. An example of a creative personality would be George Washington, who often rode into battle naked, or James Joyce, who wrote "Dubliners" with beetle juice for an intense fear of ink, or Albert Einstein, who thought his cat was a spy sent by his rival (or in thinking creatively in this case, the term could probably be "archnemesis.") It's important that your creativity doesn't get you detached from the real world completely.
I hope this article has inspired you to start thinking beyond your "limits." If you follow these steps pretty soon you'll be living a life full of interesting adventures. Unleashing your creative thinking will bring about a new zest for living life.

The 1-week Plan to Tripling Your Productivity
Your mind will be pleased with you and support you because you've decided to do something and then you have gone ahead and did that thing - that's a successful loop - it shows to your mind who is in control - no matter how big or small the task.
