5 Decisions To Shred Fear Out Of Your Life

I have personally witnessed thousands of people worldwide imprisoned by fear.  They are trapped behind the bars of not being worthy of success and shackled to their past mistakes. Are you one of those prisoners?  Have you been wrongly convicted and given a life sentence by the enemy of fear?  It's time for you to break free!  How can you possibly break through the bondage that has kept you chained down and unable to move forward in years?  Make a decision.  That's right.  You must make the decision that you will no longer be a slave to fear.

The original Hebrew root of the word "decision" means to cut off and get rid of.  It's done. It's finished.  No more. It's decision time!  Take a deep breath and get ready to change your life with these five decisions that will shred fear out of your life.

Decision #1: Make the Shift

In the movie, "Facing the Giants", the coach cares enough about one of his players to get in his face and confront him about his fear. He sees that the player has the gift of leadership, but is wasting it.  The coach pushes the player and makes him go to a level where he's never been.  He's got to see beyond where he's been by doing something that he's never done.  At that point, the shift happens...the shift from the past to the present...from where he's been to where he wants to go now.

A shift gets developed when you're focused.  Lack of focus will kill your dreams! When you make that shift and get laser-focused, it's guaranteed that you will achieve your goals and dreams.  Unfortunately, the biggest distractions in our lives that cause us to lose focus are other people.  These people don't believe in you or your dream.  They are insecure dream stealers that won't take the action for that shift in life to happen.  There's only one thing to do when you are surrounded by these types of people...get away!  If they are family or close friends, then it's time to love them, leave them and show them.  Let them know that you love them but you have to take time for yourself to achieve your dreams and then your action that you show them in pursuit of your goals and dreams will greatly change how they see you.  What happens next?  The shift!

Decision #2: Take Ownership of Your Why

One of the top things that you must do to get fear out of your life is take ownership of your Why, which is your ultimate purpose. It's the reason you get out of bed every day.  When you take ownership of your Why, you own it no matter what happens, no matter what occurs each and every day. It's your Why and nobody can take that from you!  Your Why is the insurance that backs up your goals and dreams. There's no way that you can give up on your daily quest to achieve your goals and dreams if have taken full ownership of your Why.

You have to protect your Why, because it's yours and you own it.  If someone walked into your home and started taking your valuables, I have no doubt that you would stop them, because it's your stuff!  You own it!  However, why do most people allow the naysayers to steal your Why on a daily basis?  It's simple.  They haven't taken true ownership of their Why in life.  You have to fight for your Why like you would fight for your belongings. If you have someone in your life trying to take your Why away from you, the get rid of them.  Like I said before, love them, leave them and show them.  It's your Why so take some action to protect it!

Decision #3: Make Your Pledge

A pledge is a declaration, a solemn vow.   It's your responsibility to make a pledge to yourself and your Why to be the very best that you can get every single day.  When you make a declaration to yourself and everyone around you that you will not give up on your Why, fear will flee!  There's no room for fear if you are truly committed to your Why!

That's right.  I said a commitment! Your pledge is a formal commitment.  It doesn't waiver or falter during the tough times.  Your pledge causes you to lead by example with your attitude, words, ethics, and values.  Your pledge is the driving force behind your Why.  It pushes you and serves as a constant reminder about your commitment.

With the confrontation and resistance that constantly bombard us in society, your pledge will be challenged.  You will be pressured to give up, because the world says that your pledge is not realistic. What do you do? When you get pushed, push back hard and speak your Why in the face of the enemy.  You have made pledge, a vow, to your Why and you must refuse to let anyone cause you to doubt it.  Remember, you've made the shift in your life to go to the next level, you've taken ownership of your Why, and now your pledge to your Why is in place.  So, what's next?

Decision #4: Build Your Mastermind Team

Your mastermind team is your support system.  They empower you to prosper in every area of your life no matter what obstacles stand in your way or the adversity that you face. Now, close your eyes and visualize who is on your mastermind team.  Does that image make you smile or does it cause you to realize why you are failing in various areas of your life?

If the people on your mastermind team do not add value you to your life and encourage you to go after your dreams, then it's time for a change.  An unmotivated, discouraging mastermind team will ruin your chances of ever achieving your ultimate Why in life.  These types of people are selfish and their motives are very different than yours. Fear will constantly consume you if you continue to allow these people to negatively affect your life.

What if you have no one in your closest circle of influence that you would ask to be on your mastermind team? Well, it's time for you to venture outside of that circle and meet some new people that have similar goals and dreams. The Lifestyle Freedom Club is the #1 success and motivation club in the world, and the members are motivated champions just like you!  Check out this amazing place to build your mastermind team at www.LifestyleFreedomClub.com.  No fear exists in this club!

Decision #5: Create a Solid Foundation

When a house is built, a lot of time is spent laying the foundation.  If the foundation is not solid, then the house will eventually crumble.  Similarly, you cannot achieve your Why in life without a solid foundation of commitment.  Your Why will fall apart and become unachievable if you are not seriously committed.

Imagine your commitment as the foundation of your Why house.  The windows are your daily action steps, the walls are your habits, the roof consists of your mastermind team, and so on.  Do you realize how easily this entire structure will fail if your commitment is shaky?  It might be stable for a while but it will eventually fall down around you.

You also strengthen your foundation by continuing to grow your roots deeper and deeper.  Your roots are developed by immersing yourself in personal development - listening to motivational CDs, reading inspirational books, etc.  Your belief in yourself and your ability to achieve your Why will skyrocket when you create that daily habit of learning.  As your belief builds, your roots grow and your foundation becomes more solid.

I'm often asked if it's okay to take some time off.  When you stop your daily success habits and take a break from your personal development, cracks will start to develop in your foundation.  Even the slightest little crack will allow the weed of fear to sprout through and endanger your Why.  If you are truly committed to the achievement of your Why in life, then you should absolutely no desire to take a break from your success journey.

Now, let's recap...

Decision #1: Make the Shift
Decision #2: Take Ownership of Your Why
Decision #3: Make Your Pledge
Decision #4: Build Your Mastermind Team
Decision #5: Create a Solid Foundation

Now, it's your turn!  Take action today and make these five decisions to get rid of the fear that is haunting you and preventing you from going forward in life.  Don't let the enemy of fear win.  You are a Champion and you can defeat fear!

In Dreams I Walk

Not sure of anyone else, but my happy self-wants, needs, and loves to dream. There are millions of folks, places, and things to dream of. Its absolutely wonderful to find a nice peaceful spot, and allow our mind to romp through the pages of antiquity and on into future tales of unsuspecting adventures - for it is those misty clouds of possibilities where we mortal souls will devoid ourselves of all the negatives, transpose ourselves into anywhere we wish and look forward to the experiences that linger where we have never been before.

Our fantasies can picture us of becoming a famous and fantastic dancer, and gliding over clouds of lightness...of becoming a professional poet, and inspiring others to fulfill their dreams of flight...of being a scientist, and discovering new methods of accomplishing our goals...of just relaxing and inhaling the twinkling stars...of listening to a raindrop fall, and hear its solitude...of watching smoke rise, and understand obscurity...listening to a snowflake fall, and comprehend peace...of suddenly realizing that our minds are the final frontier...of making new good friends, so we will experience loneliness less...of being a doctor, and healing mankind...of knowing that serendipity ceases, when our thoughts stop.

We can dream of going to a beach, lay on the sands of time, and wonder what secrets the ocean hides...of traveling through a worm-hole, and discovering a new dimension...of strolling through a forest, and discovering solitude...of being a hurricane, and swirling through the galaxy...of realizing that crying and laughing heals the heart and the soul...of being aware of the tremendous power or faith in ourselves...of having the courage to kneel and help a child...of the fantastic inner strength of asking for help when we need it...of realizing that the more we learn, the more interesting we are to others...of standing on the edge of the universe, and watching it evolve...of being the sun, and warming our beautiful Blue Marble...of being the moon, and stirring the seeds of love on a warm summer night...of being a motivator, and inspiring passion...of prevailing over adversity, and amplifying comprehension in others.

Or perhaps, we may wish to dream of expanding our imagination, and let it transport us to the galactic core...of realizing that beyond the seas are new lands to explore...beyond the mountains are new friends to make...beyond our fears unfolds a new life...beyond curiosity is the flight of excitement...beyond the fears of the problems are the solutions...beyond stubbornness is the power to be humble...beyond a raging storm is a warm summer day...beyond a vehicle is a starship...of knowing that ignoring fear is to cause its death...of knowing you would march into hell itself for your family...to converse with the stars on a crisp clear night, and hearing the answer to your prayers...of realizing that you can defeat loneliness with enthusiasm...of finding a mysterious new love in a far-away place.

There are those of us who may prefer to dream of gallivanting around within our bodacious bodies and discovering the veins of life that flow... how our skin stretches...how the heart can pump 12,000 miles of blood through the veins... how our lungs can expand when we inhale the life-giving air... how all of the creepy things in and on our skin covered "bags of mostly water" (us humanoids) can exist, and realize that without them, we would die...discover the tremendous power of the one billion cells in our brain, and how the axions and dentrites send and receive all of our thoughts through electrical and chemical activated synaptic connections...of fully realizing how one microscopic cell can multiply exponentially, and how each new cell knows where to go, and what to do when it gets there.

Maybe we would enjoy listening to our hearts, and understand our children's...of listening to a flower grow, and evermore understand patience...of listening to a soft wind blow, and hear nature sing...of listening to leaves tumble, and hear them fall...of listening to a raindrop drip, and hear solitude ring...of listening to a river flow, and hear pure isolation...of listening to the sun shine, and hear our life's pulse...of listening to the ocean's roar, and hear antiquity...of listening to a butterfly's wings, and know determination...of listening to our dreams, and harken to a whole new life.

Dreaming on the shores of our own private universe not only invigorates our meandering minds and our benefiting bodies, it can also give us a whole new outlook on life itself - maybe instilling in us a new idea, a new and better way to change ourselves for the better, motivate us to become far better off then we are now, and allowing us to understand our children and ourselves more. Dreaming can also cause us to enjoy more pleasures in life, such as strolling through the mud in a summer rain, enjoying a field of lightning bugs on a warm summer night, writing poetry for the ones we love, or just singing in a warm shower after a long day's work.

But the most over-riding and powerful benefit of dreaming is realizing that if we truly wish, we can fulfill most of our dreams! Imagine what you can do next!

An Inspirational Thought for Today

Are you ready for your inspirational thought for the day? When you first read it, it may seem too simple. However, if you think about it for even a moment, you'll see that the implications are profound - and inspiring. This is t:

"Whatever goals you have in your life, and no matter where you are start, someone has succeeded at something similar or even more difficult, starting with less than you have."

There may be some of you out of the six billion on the planet for whom this doesn't apply. Perhaps some really want to do things that are far beyond anything a man or woman has ever done, so I apologize to the fifty of you. As for the rest of you, what do you want?

Want a loving partner? Somebody less attractive, charming and intelligent than you is getting happily married somewhere today. Want to create a new food and successfully market it? You probably already have more resources than Harlan Sanders had when he started trying to sell his Kentucky Fried Chicken. Want a big beautiful home? Three or more people in your town have such a home after being poorer than you at some point in their lives.

Is This An Inspirational Thought?

Anthony Hopkin's character, in the movie "The Edge," says "What one man can do, another can do." He goes on to kill the bear that is stalking him. What if you aren't as strong, as rich, or as smart as others? Not all those who have done great things were always stronger, smarter and richer than you. Just like them, you can learn the right things, take the right actions and put in the effort. This is why this is an inspirational thought. See where some people started from, and you'll find yourself saying, "Hey! If he can do it, I can too."

I told a guy he could save money to buy a home, and he claimed he just didn't have any extra to save. He forget that he already knew several people who were making less money than him and surviving just fine. If he lived like those people for a while, couldn't he bank the difference? (Just say yes - finding reasons why you can't do something is a terrible habit to encourage.)

Would you like a date for this Friday? How? Here's a clue: An awkward young man asked a woman friend why he couldn't get a date. She asked if he had asked anyone out. After he thought about it for a moment he said, "No." "That's why," she told him. Better example: I know a jerk who always had a date - after asking twenty women a week out. These are lessons, aren't they? If a geek and a jerk can get a date, you can too, right?

Colonel Sanders drove around in an old van living off his social security check as 900 restaurants told him they were not interested in his recipe. One eventually said yes, and he eventually made millions of dollars. Maybe this could inspire us to try something more than three times?

People come here with little money and speaking little English and end up owning restaurants and stores. If you want to own a restaurant or store, find out how they do it. There are almost three million millionaires in the U.S. If you really want millions, read their stories, talk to them, and learn how to make money. Whatever you want to do, someone has done it, starting from a worse situation than yours. If they can do it, you can too. This is your inspirational thought for the day.

A Few Inspirational Quotes

Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.

Be happy for this moment. This moment is your life.

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.

Life is full of beauty. Notice it. Notice the bumble bee, the small child, and the smiling faces. Smell the rain, and feel the wind. Live your life to the fullest potential, and fight for your dreams.

Very little is needed to make a happy life; it is all within yourself, in your way of thinking.

The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.

It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.

Your talent is God's gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.

What you do today can improve all your tomorrows.

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.

Adopt the pace of nature: her secret is patience.

The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.

Self-image - Boost Your Self-image in 5 Simple Steps

Never voice an opinion of yourself that is less than spectacular.   Any sentiment less than extraordinary or amazing about yourself, you must refrain from verbalizing it.  Expressions become impressions.  Every time you express views about yourself, those views become  impressed, imprinted, inscribed... tattooed  onto your self-image and onto others' minds.

People usually repeat what they hear.  So if they are going to hear something from you, about you, make it breathtaking.  Make it...worth repeating.    Remember this...your words are tattooists.  Choose them carefully... for their scars can last a lifetime.

Here are some simple things you can do to make sure your words are painting a beautiful self-portrait.

1. Describe Yourself:   Ask yourself "What has been the most empowering description of myself that I have ever heard?"  Write it down and repeat it throughout the day. If you are not happy with it, make up a description of yourself that will empower you and repeat it frequently.

2. Powerful Words:   Since you are carving your day and life with words why not be very selective on the words you use.  Incorporate these words today in every interaction or thought you have:  Wonderful, uplifted, invincible, courageous, passionate, loving, compassionate, astounding, determined, miraculous, committed, stupendous.

3. Develop a Habit: You have probably heard that it takes twenty-one days to develop a new habit.  But have you ever consciously counted the days you tried to implement a new habit?  Here is a good opportunity.  For the next twenty-one days repeat frequently that powerful statement that describes you (tip number 1) and consciously make yourself use those powerful words (tip number two) in every interaction.  Do this for twenty-one days and see how your life will change.

4. Think Before You Speak: You have the power to build or destroy, to make things, incidents, and people more beautiful than they are or uglier...you can create a masterpiece everywhere you go or a disaster.  Your words give you a lot more power than you think.  Next time you are going to express your opinion about something, someone, or even yourself think before you speak. Expressions become impressions.

5. Change Others' Lives: It is not a miracle, it's called imitation.  We all do it.  If you spend enough time with another person, you will eventually start resembling that person.  Take a look at your spouse, siblings, or people you spend lots of time with.  Chances are you use similar expressions, body movements, gestures and even words.  So this means that you won't only impact your life when you choose to use powerful words but also that of others that you care and love.

Affirm This Statement:
I vocalize only words that empower,  invigorate, and compel the best to emerge. My words exhilarate.
