4 Powerful Ways To Fire Up Your Motivation

At times we all find it so difficult to go on when everything seems to fail, isn't it? Are there times in your life when you really want to call it "quits" because you just can't see any good results from all the hard work you've done?

So what are we to do at times like these? How do we cope?

Never ever think of giving up. Winners never quit and quitters never win as the old saying goes. Take all negative words out of your mental dictionary and be aware of what you are saying at all times, focus on the solutions with utmost conviction and patience.

The battle is never lost until you've abandoned your vision.

But what if you're really exhausted physically, mentally, and most of all emotionally? Here are some sources of motivation to prompt and assist you in reaching the peak of accomplishment.

1) The Overwhelming Feeling of Attaining your Desired End

How would you feel after accomplishing your mission? Of course you will feel ecstatic. You might be shedding tears of joy. Let this tremendous feeling sink in and encourage you to persist despite all odds.

As I work on Achievement Radio and the many challenges it presents day in and day out, I used this technique to motivate me. I pull out my goals sheet with my core values and vision statements, I use these to remind me of the difference Achievement Radio makes in the lives of so many people all over the world. I imagine you listening and getting that one idea or new thought that will create a new energy and life that is better than you ever thought possible. I absorbed all these great perceptions into my inner being in order to achieve my ultimate goal. Then, I get busy taking action on my goals!

2) The Reward System . Make it Real and True to Your Goals

How would you feel if you've entered a contest, but there are no prizes for the winners? It's not very encouraging, isn't it?

The same principles apply to your vision. Reward yourself after accomplishing a goal. Set a particular incentive for every objective. Start out with small milestones and goals if this is new to you and work your way up.

Let's say if you've achieved a particular task, you'll treat yourself to your favorite restaurant. When you've finished a bigger task, you'll go on a vacation.

Got the idea?

Just set something gratifying to indulge in after completing a certain undertaking that is directly related to you most important goals.

3) The Powerful Force of Humanity

If you want to succeed, surround yourself with the right kind of people who will support and encourage you all the way.

Be with people who have the same beliefs and aspirations as yours. Positive aura is generated by this fusion of collective energy from people of "like minds."

On the contrary, being with people who oppose your ways of thinking may trigger a negative, yet very powerful, kind of motivation.

Has anyone ever said to you that "You'll never get anywhere?" or "You're wasting your time with what you're doing?"

Didn't it made you furious and determined enough to prove to them how wrong they were? This is what I'm talking about.

When aggravated, you will do anything to make those who are against you swallow their words. But of course, you're primary focus should be on the accomplishment of your goal and not for the purpose of revenge. Never let your emotions toward others alter your main objective.

4) Take Care Of Your Health

As Jim Rohn says, You can't do good if you don't feel good.

Exercise regularly. Fill your brains with enough oxygen to allow you to do your daily tasks with more vigor and energy.

Take regular breaks if time allows. Having the willpower to continue despite all hardships is extremely important, but you should still know your limits.

If you don't take enough rest, you will not be able to think clearly and you will not be able to do your tasks properly. In the process, you will just get more frustrated.

Take sufficient sleep and recharge yourself after a hard day's work. Never, ever ignore your health. I've learned my hard lesson when I sacrificed my health for the sake of success. I've worked very long hours every day and just got minimal sleep. As a result, I became ill.

It's not worth it. Success and money won't matter if you don't have good health to enjoy it.

Fire up your motivation and live life to the fullest! You can do this, keep your focus on what you value most. Let nothing take you off your course. The prize goes to those who bring value to the marketplace and provide more value for the customer's investment. Know deep down inside you can and will walk away with all the success, happiness and prosperity you deserve.

Motivational Speaker - Overcoming Depression

You'll be given a taste of science right now that will grant you the keys to any emotional state that you want to create or undo. I am a motivational speaker on success, typically on financial success, but I come from a neurological angle. This information is the key to any achievement. After all, success is not money, but achievement.

We're going to roll fast.

All of our actions are ultimately an end result of our beliefs. We are commanded by our beliefs and habits. Our environment supports these. The three together make up our CONDITIONING. We only do 4 percent what we desire to do and 96 percent what we're CONDITIONED to do. Beliefs are neural networks on the subconscious mind. They are pathways that we follow...pathways of instruction. The subconscious mind is responsible for 96-98 percent of our actions and perceptions. We don't see with our eyes, rather our eyes only allow light to enter just like our ears allow sound to enter. It is our brain that deciphers what that data actually is. So we see with our brains. In a nutshell, here's how it works. It is important that you know this.

We have something call the Reticular Activating System(RAS) that works like a filter between the communication of our conscious and our subconscious mind. It is like a search engine that is looking for any and every bit of data that is relevant to your beliefs. Whatever it finds that is relevant, it sends it over to our conscious mind and only then do we consciously recognize it. An example would be how you may buy a new car, and suddenly you're noticing every car on the road that's like yours. It's not that those cars were not there before, you just weren't tuned to see them.

There is also another mechanism in the brain called the PSYCHO-CYBERNETIC MECHANISM(PCM). This mechanism is responsible for making sure that we are always staying within the boundaries of our beliefs. If we step out, it sends a chemical into the body that causes doubt, fear, and anxiety. This in turn, causes us to back away from whatever we're doing, and get back to what the brain thinks is SAFETY. It determines what "safety" is by how often we travel that path or entertain that belief.

So now, let's put this into an example. You believe you're in a state of depression (or whatever it may be). Your brain knows what you think depression is so it gives your RAS instruction to let you recognize everything that supports that belief. The articles, the shows, the songs, the people, etc. You'll be reading of symptoms of depression, noticing that you have exactly that. Everything that is pro-happiness or opposing to depression, spits out because your RAS thinks it's not what you're looking for.

Somehow you take the next step and force yourself to read a book that just seems like it will help. The hope you find in the book hits a part of your conscious mind, causing you to feel for a moment, that you can overcome this. It gets placed into your declarative memory system, and your brain sends a chemical called dopamine into your body which makes you feel happy and pumped that you will change. However, the declarative memory system(explicit memory system) is not the part of the brain that makes changes. The objective is to get this over to the implicit memory system...the embedded beliefs.

By changing the beliefs, we change the things that the RAS is going to let you consciously recognize. We also reset what the PCM recognizes as "safe" so that it stops juicing you with doubts and fears that keep you from achieving.

The short version of changing your beliefs is summed up as, "What you constantly hold in your mind and focus on with emotion, gets impressed onto your subconscious mind." In turn, if you still focus on your current beliefs, you are still feeding them. So your objective is to focus on things that are pro-happiness for you...things that you would only dream of doing. It will be difficult. It won't be painful, just difficult because it will take your full commitment. People don't succeed because they do not determine to do WHATEVER it takes to change.

It's up to you. But it's a world of healing and abundance. And it's yours for the believing.

An Inspirational Thought for Today

Are you ready for your inspirational thought for the day? When you first read it, it may seem too simple. However, if you think about it for even a moment, you'll see that the implications are profound - and inspiring. This is t:

"Whatever goals you have in your life, and no matter where you are start, someone has succeeded at something similar or even more difficult, starting with less than you have."

There may be some of you out of the six billion on the planet for whom this doesn't apply. Perhaps some really want to do things that are far beyond anything a man or woman has ever done, so I apologize to the fifty of you. As for the rest of you, what do you want?

Want a loving partner? Somebody less attractive, charming and intelligent than you is getting happily married somewhere today. Want to create a new food and successfully market it? You probably already have more resources than Harlan Sanders had when he started trying to sell his Kentucky Fried Chicken. Want a big beautiful home? Three or more people in your town have such a home after being poorer than you at some point in their lives.

Is This An Inspirational Thought?

Anthony Hopkin's character, in the movie "The Edge," says "What one man can do, another can do." He goes on to kill the bear that is stalking him. What if you aren't as strong, as rich, or as smart as others? Not all those who have done great things were always stronger, smarter and richer than you. Just like them, you can learn the right things, take the right actions and put in the effort. This is why this is an inspirational thought. See where some people started from, and you'll find yourself saying, "Hey! If he can do it, I can too."

I told a guy he could save money to buy a home, and he claimed he just didn't have any extra to save. He forget that he already knew several people who were making less money than him and surviving just fine. If he lived like those people for a while, couldn't he bank the difference? (Just say yes - finding reasons why you can't do something is a terrible habit to encourage.)

Would you like a date for this Friday? How? Here's a clue: An awkward young man asked a woman friend why he couldn't get a date. She asked if he had asked anyone out. After he thought about it for a moment he said, "No." "That's why," she told him. Better example: I know a jerk who always had a date - after asking twenty women a week out. These are lessons, aren't they? If a geek and a jerk can get a date, you can too, right?

Colonel Sanders drove around in an old van living off his social security check as 900 restaurants told him they were not interested in his recipe. One eventually said yes, and he eventually made millions of dollars. Maybe this could inspire us to try something more than three times?

People come here with little money and speaking little English and end up owning restaurants and stores. If you want to own a restaurant or store, find out how they do it. There are almost three million millionaires in the U.S. If you really want millions, read their stories, talk to them, and learn how to make money. Whatever you want to do, someone has done it, starting from a worse situation than yours. If they can do it, you can too. This is your inspirational thought for the day.

Self Esteem - A Call To Confidence (Part one)

You got it. Let me tell you how. And you're hearing it right from the horse's mouth. I was at the bottom of this can. Now I'm close to what I determine the top to be. In my eyes, that would be absolute confidence, success, and humility.

We all know what "lack of confidence" is, so I'm not going to give you my story. I'll just give you the key and show you where to use it.

We are a product of our self-image. In other words, we are what we are because of what we believe ourselves to be. The image we hold of ourselves gets programmed into our subconscious mind and then our brain takes it as an instruction to find or make that. The problem is that most of us are unaware that this is how it works so we ruin it for others and don't correct it in ourselves. Because we don't know that it works this way, particularly when we're kids, we let others create this image of what we are. The system still works the same way, in that the image held gets imprinted onto the subconscious mind.

So the formula is very simple. Drinking it is the difficult part. Kinda. The key is to create the image you want of yourself and hold it in your thoughts. Focus on it...feel it.

You must get precise...no exceptions. Get a piece of paper and start writing. There is a psychological reason for this. Figure out everything of how you want to be. How you handle certain situations, how you talk to people, what/who you look like when you talk/walk, how you eat and exercise, etc. Figure out also how you want people to treat you. Determine what your occupation is or what kind of company or car you own. This should take you no less than 30 minutes to do initially. If it does, you're not being precise enough and you might as well hang it up.

You will add to this image over the next few days things as they come to your mind...as you see different people/things. After you write the initial description, proceed to "Self Esteem - A Call To Confidence (Part 2)" for the next instructions.
