The One Choice That Changes Everything
There's one principle from unconscious psychology that is beyond powerful. Even if this is the only thing you learn from me, you'll quickly grow happier, wealthier, more productive and healthier.
You can use this to correct minor foibles or completely overhaul your life.
And it works in any domain - whether you're an athlete, business professional or someone looking for love.
Do this and you'll start spotting opportunities. It'll feel like magic, as if the universe is responding to your desires. These chances were always there but, for the first time, you start to pay attention.
It all comes down to a choice that anyone can make at any time.
The simplest and most powerful decision:
What do you choose to focus on right now?
Because in unconscious psychology, the Law of Attention says that whatever you focus on is what you get more of.
Pay attention to the good things and you get more of them. Focus on the bad and... well, you can get more of that, too.
This isn't some empty philosophy telling you to "think positive!"
It's solid psychology telling you to pay attention, right now, to what's working.
There are people who choose to focus on the negative. They criticise everything and everyone. An hour in their presence can make you want to punch something. They poke holes in every idea and explain how every achievement is really a failure.
And the strange thing is that these people are miserable.
Shouldn't they be happy? After all, in their minds, everything around them is broken. This makes them the lone hero, the voice of reason.
It makes them better than everyone else.
But no, they are bitter and miserable.
That's because they actively seek out (or create) negativity, so they wind up with more of it.
They focus on the bad stuff, so more bad stuff happens.
Don't be this person.
Then there are the genuinely joyful.
They see beauty and opportunity everywhere.
I'm not talking about being naïve or overly saccharine. When bad stuff happens, they accept it. But they choose to focus elsewhere.
In their mind, the world is full of amazing people doing great things. Isn't it humbling, even demoralising to live this way?
It turns out it's empowering. Focus on empowerment and that's what you get.
This choice you make with your conscious mind trains your unconscious. What you focus on teaches your mind what you want. If you pay attention to your successes in romance, then you'll follow opportunities to get more.
If you fixate on your failures, then it's time to rethink your mental strategy.
A practical strategy is to choose three times per day - morning, lunch and just before bed. Review your day and notice what worked. Pay attention to what you did right. If you made mistakes, then focus on what you can learn or what you did right within the mistake.
Do this until it becomes a habit.
Then follow the habit until it becomes your way of seeing the world.
This is the simplest mind training that you can do. Appreciate that its simplicity is a feature and do it.
It will lay the foundations for more advanced exercises.

Are You Going Forward, Backward or Just Stuck in a Rabbit Hole?
I'm just stuck in a rut! Just can't get out of this rabbit hole!
As far as we've come, we have unique challenges to face.
Even when you have access to a plethora of information and training out there, you are still asking...
'Why' isn't it working and 'Why' is it so hard'!
Outside of being great mult-taskers, a spouse, mother, partner, and friend so many of women live in a lack mentality, seeking more fulfillment particularly in finances.
This mentality keeps YOU from realizing your full potential.
It keeps us from really showing up and sharing our gifts, talents and passions with the world.
How can you, when the voice in your head is telling you that you can't, you should, shouldn't, isn't good enough, isn't ready yet, isn't fully realized?
These beliefs keep you from getting the results we want.
What is the rabbit hole?
If we think of lack we get lack. This in itself holds you back.
Worse, leads to depression; it increases stress and can lead to disease. You suffer and those around you suffer. Even the people who don't get to reach you with your gifts suffer because they don't get to help from your talents, your heart, and your gifts.
♥ What do you really believe about yourself?
♥ About your talents, gifts, and abilities?
♥ About what you want and deserve out of life?
♥ What really moves you?
♥ What could your life look like if you were willing to live full-out?
Our beliefs are unconscious! When they get out of control most of the time keep us stuck. We just don't know where they come from. But we do know when they show up!
What if you could remove into what is holding you back, reduce the resistance so you can do what you're here to carry out. What you are here to do purposely. It's there inside you. It's waiting to be ignited.
How can I get out of this rabbit hole?
When you start working with your beliefs and attitudes is the first step
How can you start of get past go and start to remove some of these far fetching questions that you often tell yourselves?
I can't... I don't know how... 'That' is in my way... I don't believe I'll ever. The situation in the world is just...
If you believe any of this you will never get what you want.
There is a way that I have learned for myself AND it will start removing the resistances and those ever so nagging beliefs, voice etc that keep nagging you and that don't serve you.
Without knocking off these gremlins, and I know this for myself, you won't, you can't, move!.
You literally can't perceive what's possible.
Your emotional energy is dragging you away from and not towards what you are most seeking.
What is it all about?
Science now tells us what sages have told us for a millennium. The universe is made up entirely of one thing - energy! That we are all connected. In the wake of this discovery, extraordinary work to bring spirituality and psychology together with ancient wisdom. This now allows in a way the potential transform our beliefs.
You only see that which you want to see! A great mantra that I use often.
One way is through move through being stuck and getting out of the rabbit hold is to use a technique called Meridian Tapping Techniques such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques). I know works as I use this for myself.
You owe it to yourself to have the life you deserve. Give it try.

Core Values: Responsibility Is Up to Me
People that prioritize responsibility as a core value are held in high regard. Employers, fellow employees, spouses, teachers, and students that are responsible are trusted, respected, and more likely to succeed. History records numerous examples of responsible heroes, leaders, and quotes regarding responsibility.
A straightforward example of taking responsibility is Harry Truman, the 33rd President of the United States. He was famous for having a desk sign stating, The Buck Stops Here. Photos show President Truman pointing to the saying and smiling, but taking responsibility, especially in difficult situations requires courage. In most cases, taking responsibility is guaranteed to disappoint someone or some group. The harsh critics of those who make tough decisions ironically are rarely in leadership positions. When offensive critics are leaders, failure to take responsibility for their decisions is common.
A more academic explanation in psychological terms for taking responsibility is a concept called locus of control (LOC) and is divided into two categories, external and internal. A dysfunctional external LOC is where people attribute success to luck or fate. Everyday examples include: playing the lotto as opposed to investing in oneself, talking to inanimate objects like it's the car's fault it ran out of gas, getting mad at the teacher for assigning that 15 page paper. Grouping all these examples together, an individual with a dysfunctional external LOC concludes, "Nothing good ever happens to me!"
A healthy external LOC is realistically accepting the things that can't be changed and not looking back. Physical stature, eye color, birth parents, childhood family circumstances, a tragic accident delaying attending college, among a host of other things are unfortunate. But whatever is out of a person's control must be accepted in order to move forward and be free of inducing a self-pity party.
Having an internal LOC success is attributed to one's own efforts and abilities. Failure is part of a bigger picture that leads to success. An internal LOC also has dysfunctional and healthy perspectives. A dysfunctional internal LOC is believing, "You can do anything if you put your mind to it!" Sounds nice, but not true!
At 5'7'' despite the most valiant efforts and even amazing athletic ability, playing center in the NBA is not an option. As seen on many TV dramas, "I promise I'll rescue your kidnapped child and bring him back safe!" In actual situations, that is at best bogus, but actually quite cruel to the family involved. Life is harsh at times with no guarantees.
A healthy internal LOC is taking responsibility. A realistic, yet filled with possibilities mentality is adapting and responding to circumstances as opposed to reacting. Psychological research has found that people inclined to a healthy internal LOC achieve more, get better-paying jobs, and have a more positive outlook. Sounds like an internal LOC is the way to go, but not so fast.
As mentioned before, there is a healthy external LOC so properly applied both categories have appropriate applications. Rather than attempting a balancing act, a better approach is to manage the tension between the two taking every circumstance individually and using wisdom and discernment. An either/or binary solution usually ends up distorting efforts and hindering the success that might be attained.
Extreme positions of always relying on luck or taking total control may work occasionally, but fall short and rob a person of fulfillment. The tension between internal and external LOC has been lightheartedly expressed in various forms by a number of famous people basically stating, "The harder I work, the luckier I get."
However, a person chooses to approach the concept of LOC, the long-term plan for success involves knowing the things to leave behind or turn away from and leaning into those that require multiple responses and refinements of process in order to gain the victory. A one-word explanation of this is persistence. A plaque sits on my desk with the quote, "The race goes not always to the swift... but to those who keep on running."
An edited version of President Truman's saying sums up this information, "The buck of responsibility stops here with me!"

I often have people say I am always positive like I was born with it or it’s just part of my personality. But what you should know is that being positive is a choice – a weekly choice, a daily choice and an hourly choice. Through the journey of personal development, remember that we always have a choice has been a game changer. Every moment I choose to be positive, feel positive or see the positive and the exciting thing is, if you’re a human and have a heartbeat, you have a choice too!
I’ve put together these five ways you can feel more positive in ten short minutes and change your attitude for the rest of the day:
1. Gratitude
2. Feed your soul good news
3. Make a to-do list
4. Walk outside
5. Smile
1. Have an attitude of gratitude
You may have heard of it, but a grateful heart can’t be an unhappy heart. Grab a piece of paper and scribble down 3-5 things you are grateful for right now. Whether it’s your heart that beats without you telling it to, the colours of the sunset or the fact that coconut chocolate exists – whatever it is for you, write it down NOW.
2. Feed your soul good news
Switch off your TV. Stop scrolling Instagram and Facebook and feed your soul some good news. Head to positive.news or goodnewsnetwork.org if you’re up for reading some uplifting content or head to YouTube, search ‘Kid President’ and let yourself feel good.
Good news is everywhere!
3. Make a to-do list
Make a to-do list right now. Write down 1-3 things that are a kink in your day right now and get them done. Whatever it is that you have been procrastinating or secretly ignoring hoping it will go away, get it out of your life now. Need to start on that report? Open the word document. Need to make a phone call? Dial the number. You will feel a weight lift off your shoulders once it’s done and will feel more positive crossing them off your to-do list.
4. Walk outside and be present
Take yourself outside and observe what’s around you. Feel your body in the space and notice what’s around you – the trees, the noises, the wind. Take a moment to realise that the trees are the very thing that provides us with oxygen to breathe! Hello, isn’t that crazy!! What an absolute blessing that nature keeps us alive.
Simple. Smile and remember what a blessing it is to be alive. Smile and remember that we always have a choice. Smile and remember that everything is working in your favour.
Make the choice today to be positive.
